Boys CC 4th at Northwest Conference

(COLUMBUS GROVE) - Erik Nygaard finished third and the boys cross country team took fourth place at Northwest Conference meet held in Columbus Grove.  The host Bulldogs won the meet and were led by junior Caleb Stechschulte.  

Nygaard covered the course in 16:49 just seven seconds behind Grove's Trent Koch.  

Elijah Conley was the next Pirate across the line in 15th place at 17:57.  Sam Derstine (19th), Jonah Rehm (32nd), and Trey Boblitt (37th) rounded out the Pirate scoring.  Wyatt Lovell took 42nd, Brandon Good 56th, Isaiah Conley 57th, Liam Jordan 58th, Carter Dyar 64th, Carter Dailey 65th, and Caleb McKenzie 76th also competed for Bluffton. 

On the girls side, Caitlin Dailey took 20th in 23:44, Amairi Painter was 21st at 23:50 and Kaelin Weissling finished 29th at 26:09 individually.  The girls did not have enough competitors to qualify a team score.
