Girls Soccer Now 4-0 in Conference

(COLUMBUS GROVE) - Reagan Mittendorf, Allison Diller, Clara Matthews and Rebekah Hoff scored as Bluffton's girls soccer team remained unbeated in conference play with a 4-1 win at Columbus Grove. After dropping their opening two games to Western Buckeye League opponents, the squad has turned in five wins and a tie to set themselves up for a run at the league crown.
Mittendorf & Diller staked Bluffton to a 2-0 first half lead with goals two minutes apart. Grove got on the board late in the first half for a 2-1 halftime score. Matthews found the net at the 63' mark and Hoff finished at 72'. The Pirates owned an 11-3 edge in shots on goal with Julia Mehaffie making two saves in goal. Laykin Garmatter and Matthews added assists for Bluffton.
