Trio of Lady Pirates Score 12 in Elida Win

(ELIDA) – Katie Prater, Libby Schaadt and Averey Rumer scored 12 points each in a 44-25 girls basketball win at Elida.  The win improved Bluffton to 9-3 on the season. 

Keys to the Game

Bluffton put up an impressive 18 point second quarter to seize control of the game with a 25-12 halftime lead. 

Prater, Schaadt & Rumer combined to shoot 15/20 from the field. Prater was 3/4 from downtown.  As a team, Bluffton shot 45% from the field including a 15/27 effort on two point field goals. 

Bluffton owned the paint, outscoring the Bulldogs 30-14 and winning the rebounding battle 33-30.  Rumer was the top boarder with 13.

What’s Next

Bluffton will travel to Lincolnview Thursday evening.  The Lancers are 3-8 overall and 0-2 in conference play. Bluffton is tied atop the Northwest Conference standings with Columbus Grove with a 3-0 record.  Spencerville is also undefeated in league play at 2-0.
