Volleyball Falls at Grove to End Year

(COLUMBUS GROVE) - Bluffton lost a 25-21 nailbiter at Columbus Grove in the first game of their OHSAA Sectional Volleyball match but Grove went on to dismiss the Pirates by scores of 25-8 and 25-6 to end the Pirates' year. The match was the final one for seniors Katie Prater, Ameri Siferd, Ashley Eachus and Arielle O'Neal. 

Kylie Stackhouse led Bluffton with 4 kills and Ashley Eachus added 3.  Ameri Siferd delivered 10 assists and also led the team with 17 digs.  Kylie Monday added 16 digs. Libby Schaadt had 3 aces and Stackhouse had a team leading 4 blocks. 

The Pirates finish the season with a 5-18 record.
