(BLUFFTON) - The Lady Pirate volleyball team went into the postseason with a bang after downing backyard rival Cory Rawson in five sets Saturday.  The Pirates dropped the opening set 25-20 then won the next two games 25-20, 25-13 before falling in the fourth 25-21.  BHS was victorious by a 15-5 count in the final deciding game. 

Senior Katie Prater led Bluffton with 18 kills, backed by freshman Kylie Stackhouse at 17.  Another senior/freshman combo assisted all match with Ameri Siferd at 27 and Skyler Scoles at 13.  Prater led the team with 19 digs, Kylie Monday 19 and Sifer 18. Madison Fleece and Sifered each delivered 3 aces.  

Bluffton finished the regular season at 5-17.
