Boys Soccer Falls at OG

By

(OTTAWA) - Two of the best teams in the area met on a windy Saturday afternoon when Bluffton traveled to Ottawa-Glandorf for a boys soccer match.  The host Titans were able to score two second half goals to claim a 2-1 victory and hand Bluffton their first loss of the season.

Isaiah Schwab staked Bluffton to a first half lead as he finished a tremendous pass from Jonathan Schriner.  OG got two second half goals from Unterbrink and White.  Bluffton outshot Ottawa-Glandorf 13-6 for the game.  Pirate goalkeeper Dakota Clymer made 4 saves compared to 11 for OG keeper Ethan Alt.

The Pirates played the game without starting defenders Matt Daws and Eli Lemley who were out with injuries.

The Pirates are now 6-1-3 on the season while Ottawa-Glandorf improved to 8-2-1.
