(BLUFFTON) - Down 1-0 just ten minutes into a match against Riverdale, the Bluffton boys soccer team stormed back to remain unbeaten on the season.  Bluffton is now 6-0-3 on the season.

Jon Schriner equalized for Bluffton off a nifty pass from freshman Jude Spallinger.  The score remained tied at 1-1 heading into the second half.  The game was played in hot & muggy conditions and the skies even blessed the teams with a quick shower briefly.  The Pirates trudged on and pulled away in the second half.

Schriner again did work as he fired a ball near the Falcon goal and it careened into the net off a defender for a Pirate 2-1 lead.  The second score of the half came from a Tayton Kleman pass to Andrew Heldman who slotted the ball home.  This was Heldman's first game of the season for the Pirates and welcome to the club!

Bluffton outshot Riverdale 10-2 on the night with Pirate keeper Dakota Clymer making two saves.
