LCC Latest Victim of Softball Hit Squad


(BLUFFTON) - For the fourth straight contest, Bluffton’s softball team only needed five innings to get the job done.  BHS drilled LCC Monday night 13-0 to win their sixth straight game overall and improve to 12-4 on the season.  

Libby Schaadt pitched five innings of two hit ball for the shutout victory.  The sophomore struck out ten and walked none as she improved to 11-4 as a starting pitcher. 

At the plate, Bluffton got contributions from many players.  Bekah Hoff went 2/3 with a run scored.  Katie Prater also was 2/3 with a double, 3 runs batted in and 3 runs scored.  Averey Rumer had two hits, two RBI and two runs.  Aimee Ritter also had two hits with a run scored.  Libby Schaadt knocked in a run on a double for her only hit of the night.  Bailey Edward was 1/1 with two RBI and Brinkley Garmatter added a hit, two RBI and two runs scored.
