Baseball : Miller City 11 Bluffton 4


(BLUFFTON) - Visiting Miller City broke open a close game with four runs in the fifth inning and  added five more in the seventh to defeat Bluffton 11-4 Friday evening.  The loss was the fourth straight for BHS, now 3-9 on the year. 

BHS got two hits each from Dakota Bricker and Cayden Rayle. Brady Romick, Brice Rayle, Aaron Belcher, Kaden Reneker and Evan Mayden each had singles.  Bricker and Brice Rayle drove in the four Pirate runs. 

Reneker took the loss on the mound going 4.2 innings and giving up 5 hits and 6 runs.   Bricker and Brice Rayle finished the game.  

The Wildcats held a 10-9 advantage in hits however the Pirate effort was curtailed by six errors.
