Softball Romps Over MIller City

(BLUFFTON) - The Lady Pirates tore the seams off the softball Friday evening in a 20-1 romp over Miller City.  Bluffton won their third straight game to improve to 9-4 on the season. 

The carousel started early for the Pirates as they plated three runs in the first and ten more in the second to easily put the game out of reach. BHS collected 14 hits in just four innings of work at the plate.  Several Pirates had big nights in the win. 

Libby Schaadt was 4/4 and drove in six runs. The sophomore picked up the pitching victory as well holding MC to three hits in four innings.  Schaadt struck out six Wildcats. 

Katie Prater went 2/2 with four runs batted in and three runs scored.  

Mara Minnig added a 2/3 effort with an RBI and run scored.

Aimee Ritter finished 2/3 with a run scored. 

Averey Rumer went 2/4 and scored four runs while driving in two. 

Laykin Garmatter was 1/2 with three runs scored and two RBI.

Josie Stover had a hit, run scored and run driven in.
