Haggard Still Perfect, Team Falls

(WAPAKONETA) - The young Pirate boys tennis team dropped a 4-1 match to Wapak Thursday evening.  Senior Justin Haggard continued his perfect season as he won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles.  Senior Christian Groman fell in second singles and sophomore Drew Wilson put up a valiant fight at thirds before falling 8-6 in a second set tiebreak.  Juniors Kory Strahm & Jordan Siefer fell in first doubles and freshmen Grant Klinger & Eden Nygaard lost in second doubles.  

1st Singles : Justin Haggard defeated Jeffrey Adkins 6-0, 6-1

2nd Singles : Christian Groman lost to Jordan Moening 6-1, 6-1

3rd Singles : Drew Wilson lost to Curtis Hughes 6-2, 7-6 (8-6)

1st Doubles : Kory Strahm & Jordan Siefer lost too David Haver & John Doll 6-0, 6-0

2nd Doubles : Eden Nygaard & Grant Klinger lost to Austin Hancock & Jesse Mackenzie 6-2, 6-1
