(BLUFFTON) - Solid team hitting and a quality defensive and pitching effort led Bluffton to a 6-2 softball victory over visiting Crestview.  The win pushes Bluffton to 5-2 on the year with a 1-1 mark in NWC play.

Junior catch Katie Prater led Bluffton at the plate with 3 hits in 4 at bats.  Prater scored two runs and drove in one.  Averey Rumer was 2/4 with a double, run scored and run batted in.  Libby Schaadt knocked in two runs and went 1/3.

Schaadt picked up her fifth win from the center circle, throwing a complete game six hitter.  The sophomore struck out 7 and allowed just one earned run.
