Pirates Double Up Ada

(BLUFFTON) - On a night honoring seniors Kaleb Jefferson, Dakota Bricker, Cole Fruchey and Joel Piercefield it was a a pair of sophomores that chipped in as Bluffton dismantled Ada 60-30.  Jared Piercefield scored 20 points and Mason Soper 14 leading Bluffton in scoring. Kaleb jefferson was dominant in the lane against far taller opponents going for 11.

Tied 7-7 late in the first quarter, Bluffton scored the next 17 points to take control of the game.  Joel Piercefield scored with just five seconds left in the half to put Bluffton ahead 26-10. The Pirates pushed it out to 39-19 after theee quarters and by the time all four seniors exited the court in unison, the crowd stood and cheered as BHS led 47-21. The Pirates forced 11 second half Ada turnovers while shooting 11/22 from the field as they expanded the lead.  Baylor Garmatter, McCormick Ault, Mason Ault, Jared Piercefield and Mason Soper closed out the game.
