Lady Pirates Bounce LCC 39-32

By

(LIMA) - Bluffton was able to come from behind for a 39-32 road victory at Lima Central Catholic Thursday evening.  The Pirates were able to overcome a slow start and bounce back from a loss earlier in the week to Liberty Benton.  The Pirates now have back to back home games to close the regular season against Miller City and Delphos Jefferson.

LCC jumped out to an 11-5 lead after one quarter and maintained a 17-13 advantage at halftime.  The Pirates were balanced with Alivia Koenig scoring 4 first half points, Kayla White 3, Libby Schaadt 2, Avery Rumer 2 and Laykin Garmatter 2.

The Pirate defense continued to clamp down on the Thunderbirds limiting them to just five third quarter points.  The Pirate offense started to rise up and BHS led 24-22 heading into the fourth.  BHS won the fourth quarter 15-10 to improve to 14-6 overall.
