Wrestlers Split Tri Meet

(BLUFFTON) - The Pirates defeated Parkway and fell to Ottawa-Glandorf in the final home wrestling match of the season.

The Pirates earned a tight victory over the Panthers on the strength of five individual wins.  Jeremy Sturgeon (113) won by pin in 2:38 and Josh Mehaffie pulled out a 9-8 decision at 120. Brady Romick turned in a 20-5 tech fall victory at 126 and Elijah Conley earned a 7-2 win.  James Badial-Luna won by pin in just 1:06 to seal the win for Bluffton.

Bluffton got wins by pin from both Jesse Montel and Deandre Nassar in a tight loss to the Titans who wrestle in OHSAA Division II.
