Ladies Drop Regular Season Finale

(RAWSON) - The Bluffton Lady Pirate soccer team fell 2-1 in their final regular season contest at Cory-Rawson.  

The game was tied 0-0 at halftime and C-R took a lead just minutes into the second half on a goal from Alyssa Shoemaker.  The game remained 1-0 until Bluffton sophomore Kayla White tied the game with 13 minutes remaining.  The Hornets got the game winning goal with just two minute remaining from senior Hayley Waltz.  

 Bluffton outshot Cory-Rawson 8-6 on the evening and Pirate keeper Hannah Yost made 4 saves in the win.  Bluffton fell to 8-4-4 with the loss and C-R improved to 8-7-1 with the win.
