Girls Soccer Clinches Share of NWC Crown

By

(CONVOY) - A long drive but it was worth it.  The girls soccer team won a share of the Northwest Conference crown with a crushing 9-0 victory of Crestview.  If Allen East stubs their toe in conference, the NWC title would belong to Bluffton out right.

Seven first half goals put this game out of reach in a hurry.  The Pirates got goals from several players in the balanced win.  Sarah Cartwright, Averey Rumer and Kayla White each found the net twice.  Brenna Kindle, Brinkley Garmatter and Clara Matthews also scored for BHS.  Sophia Smucker assisted as well as Kindle and White.

Bluffton improves to 8-3-4 overall and 6-0-1 in NWC play with the win. BHS won the NWC title last season with an undefeated conference record.
