(BLUFFTON) - Two area powerhouses met Saturday afternoon at Steinmetz Field when Lima Shawnee came calling.  The Indians prevailed 3-2 in a game featuring two teams with a combined total of 5 losses in 27 matches played.

Shawnee held a 1-0 halftime lead before back to back goals from Jake Lehman had the Indians in front by three.  The Pirates stayed in it and Jesse Montel scored off of a Luke Young corner kick at the 61' mark.  Three minutes later, Shawnee was whistled for a penalty in the box and Montel buried that shot to cut the lead to 3-2.  But the Pirates were unable to equalize down the stretch. Dakoda Clymer made four saves in goal for Bluffton.

Shawnee improved to 10-3-2 with the win.  Bluffton fell to 8-4-2.
