(BLUFFTON) - Bluffton's boys soccer team is hitting its stride and have now won four straight matches. The Pirates, ranked tenth in the most recent OSSCSA Northwest Ohio poll, defeated Lima Bath 2-1 Saturday afternoon at Steinmetz Field.  

Junior Luke Young staked Bluffton to a 1-0 lead just twelve minutes into the contest.  The Pirates maintained their lead through halftime.  Thirteen minutes into the second half, Bath's Jaedon Luchini knotted the score at 1-1.  Bluffton's Noah Fredritz played the role of hero as he secured the win with a left footed shot into the upper left of the goal to put Bluffton ahead for good.  

The Pirates outshot the Wildcats 10-2.  In goal, Dakota Clymer had two saves.  

The Bluffton junior varsity team was also victorious by a 2-0 count.  Jonathan Schriner scored both Pirated goals.
