Netters Dominate Tiffin Calvert

(BLUFFTON) - Bluffton swept the three singles matches and added a doubles win en route to a 4-1 girls tennis victory over Tiffin Calvert. 

1st Singles : Senior Katie Wright won her first set easily at 6-2 before having to grit out a 7-6 second set victory, including an 8-6 tiebreak to win the match over senior Marie Brodman.

2nd Singles : Senior Lucie Fett took her first set 6-2 over Devyn Wannemant.  Fett then also had tough out a second set victory by a 7-5 count.

3rd Singles : Sophomore Erin Hotmire defeated senior Maria Gosle in two tight sets with scores of 6-4 and 7-6 with an 8-6 tiebreak.

1st Doubles : The junior duo of Rachel Avila & Caity Zimmerman fell 6-4, 6-4 to Elana Kapelka & Bria Coleman in first doubles action.

2nd Doubles : Juniors Emma Klinger & Amelia Mitchell were 6-2, 6-4 winners over Maria Welter & Emma Prince.
