Boys Soccer Falls at St. Marys

(ST. MARYS) - Bluffton traveled to St. Mary's to open the 2017 regular season and the hosts handed the Pirates a 4-2 defeat. The Roughriders led 2-1 at halftime and pushed the lead to 4-1 at one point.
Bluffton got on the board in the first half when freshman Tayten Kleman assisted sophomore Jayden Mays. This goal tied the game at 1-1. The second Pirate goal was scored by junior Jordan Siferd.
St. Mary's outshot Bluffton 12-10 on the evening. Pirate goal keeper Dakota Clymer made 10 saves. Bluffton will be back in action Thursday at the Elida Kickoff Classic.
