Softball Opens with 15-0 Win

(MCCOMB) - The 2016 Bluffton Lady Pirate softball season started with a bang as Bluffton trounced the host McComb Panthers 15-0 in just five innings.  Senior Sami Fruchey led the way at the plate and from the center circle.  Fruchey bombed two home runs and knocked in eight runs.  As the starting pitcher, she allowed just three hits and struck out twelve Panthers. 

Abbie Parkins added three hits in four at bats and scored three runs.  Averey Rumer also had three hits and three runs.  Taylor Monday (2-3, 4 runs scored) and Alivia Koenig (2-2, 2 runs scored) aided in the blowout as well.
