Sophomore Zach Wilson won the 140 pound weight class at the Allen County Invitational Saturday.  The Bluffton squad came in seventh in the team standings.   Allen East won the event with 319 points, Bluffton finished with 196. Dustin Brinkman was second in the 125 class, Kody Koronich battled down to the last whistle in the championship match of the 285, losing 2-1 in overtime for second place.  Ben Moser took third in 215 and Logan Sturgill finished third in the 189 class. 

Wilson had a perfect 5-0 day with one pin.  The returning state qualifier won the championship match 10-5 over Allen East’s Austin Lloyd.  Dustin Brinkman went 3-0 in pool play with two pins before falling 6-2 to Brady Croft of Shawnee in the final.  Junior Kody Koronich was perfect in pool play before dropping a 2-1 overtime heartbreaker to Cole Keyner of Bath in the 285 final.  Logan Sturgill had a great day going 4-1 including a 9-5 decision over Jacob Leach of Delphos Jefferson in the third place match of 189.  The senior scored three wins by pin.  Ben Moser was 4-1 with three pins of his own.  Moser took down Grant Criblez of Allen East in the third place match of 215 with a 13-5 major decision.

Justin Conner was 2-2 on the day including a 42 second pin in the fifth place match.  Ryan Conner went 1-3 and won the seventh place match of 171 with a pin just before the first bell at 2:59.   Josh Bracy was 1-3 with a pin at 130.  Jacob Garmatter was also 1-3 at 135.
