Spikers Crush Grove

By

Bluffton volleyball won their second straight match as they disposed of NWC rival Columbus Grove 22-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-13 Tuesday night in the Treasure Chest.  The Pirates were up 18-13 in the first game, and if not for a furious Bulldog rally, the match would've been a 3-0 sweep.

Alaina Bixel and Taylor Wenger each had 9 kills for Bluffton as they kept Grove hopping all night long.  Jenna Buroker had five aces and 18 digs from the back row for the Pirates, now 7-7 overall and 3-2 in the NWC.  Emily Buroker had 18 assists.  Tay Wenger also had five blocks to lead BHS.

Bluffton takes to the road Thursday, traveling to Crestview for another NWC match.
