Coldwater blew the district final game open with a six run second inning and tacked on four more for good measure in the fourth, as they defeated Bluffton 11-1 in District Final play from Elida on Saturday afternoon. Bluffton could not overcome some timely Cavalier hitting in the loss.
Bluffton fniishes the year at 20-7, the most victories in a season for Bluffton baseball. BHS captured their first NWC title this year as well under first year coach Matt Scholz.
Four seniors played their final home game for the Pirates. Josh Anderson, Joel Groman, Matt Suderman and Evan Skilliter played their final contest for the red & white.
Congratulations on a fine season Bluffton and good luck this summer in ACME play and looking forward to next year!
