Softballers Make Up NWC Win

Monday's rain pushed the NWC matchup at Delphos to Wednesday and the Pirates didn't waste any more time. Brianna Laing legged out an infield hit, Carrie Bassitt doubled to left and Tori Holcomb blasted one to the right field fence for a 2-0 lead that would not be relinquished. BHS cruised on to an 11-4 win to improve to 13-2 and 4-1 in the NWC. Bassitt doubled twice for BHS.
