Sarah Stratton Runs a Relay at Bath Invite
The Bluffton boys track squad were narrowly defeated for first place at the Bath Relays. The girls finished in fourth place. Ottawa Glandorf took home the boys crown after outscoring BHS by a mere 1.75 points. Shawnee dominated the girls with 112 points while Bluffton closed with 64. The boys meet came down to the final race and the Pirates certainly held up their end of the bargain. The 3200 Relay squad of Matt Herron, David Yoder, David Moser and Lucas Harnish won the race in 8:38.0 but O-G finished second to capture the crown. Had O-G finished third, Bluffton would've won. On the girls side of things, Lydia Guagenti was a double winner taking the high jump and the 400. Lindsey Bassitt took top honors in the 100 hurdles and finished third in the 300.
